Pakistani origin British boxer Amir Khan took just five rounds to take Zab Judah's world title belt in an impressive display last night (July 23rd).
Amir already held the WBA crown but was fighting for the unification of that and the IBF title, which was Judah's ahead of the bout. Amir knocked juda out in te fifth round.
Judah claimed the knockout punch was too low to be legal, but this was refuted by the Bolton fighter in the aftermath of the bout.
Judah added he believed the referee was giving him a chance to get up from the "low blow".
Khan has only lost once, to Breidis Prescott in 2008, racking up wins against fighters such as Paulie Malignaggi, Marco Antonio Barrera and Marcos Maidana since then, with bouts with Erik Morales and Floyd Mayweather Jr perhaps on the cards in the future.
