PUBG will remain banned in Pakistan: PTA

On directions of Lahore High Court, PTA conducted a hearing at PTA premises on July 9, 2020. The hearing was attended by other interested parties. PUBG management was also approached by PTA to provide data regarding sessions and users in Pakistan and Controls exercised by the company. But response from PUBG management is still awaited.

On account of complaints from different sections of the society, PTA temporarily suspended PUBG game on July 1. Complaints says that the game is addictive and time wasting, moreover it poses negative impacts on physical and mental health of its players, most of which are young children.

PTA was directed by Lahore High Court to look into the matter and decide regarding these complaints after hearing.
