Salala incident took place of 26th November, 2011 when two Pakistani military posts were attacked by US-led NATO forces. Forces opened fire at two check posts of Pakistan Military on border. It killed 24 soldiers and injured 13. It resulted in blockage of NATO supply, evacuation of Shamsi Air Field and widened gap between Pakistan and US relations.
This incident again proved that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal is disliked by the west and there is a covert cold war against Pakistan. When Pakistan is acting as an ally in this so called war on terror, in these circumstances this attack was mere violation of Pakistan's sovereignty. Most of the Pakistanis think that it was an intentional attack. And, since a year, no apology proves that this attack was having some intentions. US can apologies to India on investigation with Shah Rukh Khan, but blood of 24 Pakistani soldiers on the hands of US do not deserve any sort of apology or regret.
US has tried on each and every ground to led Pakistan down. India gets all energy deals like civil nuclear, all gas and oil supplies, access to all markets but Pakistan is denied with energy deals and Pakistan is free to make contract at its own with Iran. It does not get its share from the coalition funds. In these circumstances Pakistan must revisit its stance in WoT, and it coalition with US, in fact Pakistan has to re-assess loyalty of US towards Pakistan. Being an ally in WoT, Pakistan has suffered a lot in both battle field and economic field. Most of the problems of Pakistan are due to being part of this so called WoT. Pakistani economy is almost on the verge of collapse because of no investment and flight of capital due insecurities of part of investors. Pakistan must aside itself from this so called war. This can only be the way for resolving problems of Pakistan.
